About
our founder :
In his
14 years of call center
experience, Edward Soorany has managed the creation of call centers,
and has overseen the successes of numerous B2B (business to business) and
B2C (business to consumer) programs. His analytical insight and knowledge in
the areas of sales, marketing, CRM (customer relationship management), call
center infrastructure and technology allows him to approach a company's
challenges from any angle. Edward is a graduate of the University
of
British Columbia. He has worked on behalf of such
clients as AT&T, Bell Intrigna, Bell Mobility, Cingular Wireless,
E*TRADE ATM, MCI, Quest Communications, Salesforce.com, Sprint PCS, and
T-Mobile USA (formerly Voice Stream). His previously held positions within other companies include
Vice President of Business Development, Vice President of Sales &
Marketing, Director of Special Projects, Call Center Manager, Program
Manager, and IT Administrator. Edward is a member of Contact Centre
Canada and was recently invited to sit on their Panel of Experts. He was
also appointed to the Telemarketing Industry Advisory Group of
the Business Practices & Consumer Protection Authority (BPCPA) of
British Columbia.
Edward is presently developing and launching other exciting ventures. He
is an Executive
Board Advisor to The Opportunities for the Disabled Foundation (OFTDF).
The OFTDF is a federally registered charitable organization run by people
with physical disabilities for people with physical disabilities. Edward
also represents the local business community and is Chairperson of the
Board of Directors of EASE, a non-profit entrepreneurial
program that is delivered and managed by Langara College. He is
frequently invited to give presentations to new and past graduates. Edward
is a member of both the American Marketing Association (British Columbia
Chapter), and the Association for Consumer Research, and a Fellow of the
Academy of Marketing Science. Edward
Soorany is a finalist nominee for the 2003 Entrepreneur of the Year
Awards, as well as a nominee for the Canada's Top 40 Under 40 Awards.
